Last evening, he bought vibrant spring flowers for me, a bouquet of oriental lilies and white carnations. The flowers lift my spirits undeniably. It was such a lovely, extravagant gesture and so atypical of him. He understands the stress of studying amidst incoming exams and he knows how frustrated I am to be shackled to my desk when the blue skies and brilliant shopping spree beckon me outdoors. Needless to say, I am overjoyed to have masses of flowers adorning every available surface of my room.
